HoneyBook CRM for Creatives
HoneyBook is an absolute game changer for creative business owners, who do direct client project booking. It’s well designed and keeps everything simple while taking out a lot of the tedious tasks of preparing quotes and contracts. Another neat feature is the community building aspect of the platform, touting “Community Over Competition”. With over 50,000 creatives, you’ll often see local lead sharing and collaboration offers. When I switched, I moved all my email templates, quotes, and contracts over and made very few changes to them – however, my lead engagement shot up immensely and I’m spending much less time following up with leads.

FreshBooks Cloud Accounting
Freshbooks is one of my favorite accounting tools to run a small business. Accounting and invoicing is the bane of my existence as a business owner, but oh so necessary. I love Freshbooks because it simplifies the entire process and makes keeping track of expenses a lot less painful. On the client end, invoices are easy to view and pay online and the software will even handle the follow-up process to make sure clients don’t forget about you.

Creative Live
Creative Live is one of my favorite online education platforms. One of the best parts is that alot of the courses are free to watch and the content is phenomenal. CreativeLive is a platform for creative entrepreneurs in the photography, design, art, and video space. You can watch any class when it’s livestreamed for the recording or purchase the course for viewing anytime. It’s an easy way to learn new skills without spending a bunch of money.
